This will actually be my first critique I've written so I'll give it my best. Here goes.

First thing that caught my attention was the striking contrast on the characters arm, it really grabbed my arm and led me around the character. Clean lines, smooth gradients, the technique is well mastered here I see.

I do wonder (this is just my opinion and correct me if I'm wrong) if this character supposed to be like a baddie? Right now, the sharp red eyes and the menacing smile seem really evil, but the rest of the design with round lines and light colours make me think of a good guy. Dark colours are popularly associated with evil characters, aswell as triangles in design (think of buzz lightyears enemy, zurg ) Right now I'd say your character isn't a good guy, but not yet a bad guy. Maybe something consider?

Anyway well done, I hope I've not squashed any enthusiasm you have because this is great and very pleasing to the eye!

Well okay then.
Here's something I wouldn't have expected to see, but love nonetheless.
Originality on your side is huge here, naturally, because we've never seen Tao in your gallery. He fits, though.
Once again, your beautiful shading takes charge and tells us how that sun is setting with pizazz. The design on Tao is lovely, and it replicates my Google Image Search results very well. Heh.
One thing I could say, is that the legs look slightly short in comparison to the rest, but it could just be that huge arm there.
All in all, a robust job on a new style, and a nifty 3-colour face. Haha.
