Finally.. after what seems like forever I finally finished my entry to 's and 's contest. Sorry for the long wait but I was trying to finish everything up with Zai and make the background flow as well as deciding which version of the final piece to forward. The work seems well worth it as I knew that no matter which version was picked by me and the few I asked going forward, it was still going to be my best picture, quality wise, yet.

Instead of choosing the straightforward music approach to the contest, I chose the symbolic option, since I like embracing challenges. The original song of inspiration for this work was The Beginning is the End is the Beginning as pointed out by the name of the deviation. The meaning under this inspiration was the concept that from life comes death and from death brings life, in a cycle. Two polar opposites can in turn be linked through such an occurrence, whether it be directly or indirectly. The background I guess could resemble and symbolize the inner workings of a clock or a time more celestial. The references to "blasts" in the song illuminated by bursts of light in the picture itself. Insuperable in alone and bound together if not by physical means then in ways not seen by the basic eye.

As I worked a secondary song also sort of gained some meaning, at least in Sorrow's behalf by name. Hand of Sorrow ties in loosely with the "End" meaning of the prior song. Ravished and perhaps bound elsewhere by songs end. But again it really only pertains loosely and with Sorrow.
